We are seeking a specialist Recovery and Resilience leader who has executed this in other large, complex organisations. This one isn't right for someone to step up into and learn on the job; we need a proven expert who can make an immediate impact.

The focus:

  • End-to-end technology recovery and resilience across a landscape of 100+ locations and UK wide critical infrastructure.
  • Ensuring critical services and operations are restored in a controlled, prioritised way.
  • Building and governing recovery frameworks, playbooks, and sequencing.
  • Leading live recovery during major incidents.
  • Driving readiness through testing, simulations, and continuous improvement.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role with regular engagement at exec, board, and regulator level.

Experience operating in regulated, high-stakes environments would be beneficial.

Someone who can bring structure and control in high-pressure scenarios.

A credible stakeholder operator across tech, business, and external partners.

You can be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to the Midlands and London.

We would like to make a permanent appointment here, with a strong, market leading package which can flex to attract the best person. We are also open to bringing in an interim, if that would suit better.
