This is a newly created Architecture leadership role, reporting into the Group Chief Architect operating alongside Heads of Architecture. This appointment has a significant remit and scope, and will be responsible for leading, shaping and delivering on major transformation programmes (50m+) for an industry giant operating within the Insurance space.

This role will suit a Head of Architecture, Lead Architect or a Principal that has led teams of Architects on significant technology enabled modernisations programmes, within regulated sectors. The role will also act as a TDA on these transformations, largely focused on re-platforming, digital and MDM.

Suited to a visionary who is comfortable around executive business sponsors.

Key skills / experience:

  • Demonstrable experience operating at Lead / Principal or Head of on significant technology investment programmes (50m+)
  • Track record of influencing and leading engagements with executive sponsors
  • Background in Applications / Integrations / Solutions and operated by leading teams of Architects
  • Track record of acting as a TDA on sizeable change programmes
  • Beneficial insurance re-platforming
