A PE firm (30 employees) which we work with are looking to clean up, organise, and introduce some governance to their data. We are looking to introduce a consultant or even small SharePoint consultancy who can shape and execute this project for them over the next 3-6 months. Remote UK, with the ability to visit their London office a couple of times at the start of the engagement to meet the team and gather requirements.

We’re looking for an experienced SharePoint Administrator to take ownership of a small PE firm’s data, predominently across SharePoint and Teams. Your primary task will be to audit, clean, and restructure our existing SharePoint and Teams environment. You’ll work closely with team members to understand workflows and ensure that our digital workspace is efficient, user-friendly, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit and assess existing SharePoint and Teams structure
  • Develop and implement a logical, intuitive folder and data structure
  • Migrate and organize existing files and documents
  • Set appropriate permissions and access controls
  • Clean up outdated or duplicated content
  • Provide recommendations for best practices and future-proofing
  • Train staff on any new processes or changes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in SharePoint Administration, working on similar projects
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

We are open to engaging a day rate contractor, a small team of consultants on an SOW, or a part time contractor who wants to work based on deliverables. This is a hands on role, you’ll be doing the administration yourself as well as the up front analysis and requirements – given the size of the organisation. Start date ASAP.
