A global industry leader with 30k+ employees across 20+ countries is recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead and enhance all cloud and data centre services across their multiple global businesses through both internal and vendor teams. This is a key role within a large, complex organisation undergoing significant digital transformation.
You’ll be responsible for leading a hybrid infrastructure landscape, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and future-ready IT operations.
The ideal individual will be someone who has experience leading large-scale data centre and cloud operations, with a previous track record migrating services to Azure. This can be a remote position based in the UK, with infrequent travel to core offices in both Birmingham and Europe (1hr flight).
Ideal Experience:- Strong background in hybrid infrastructure, with deep knowledge of Cloud services (Azure very favourable)
- Experience leading technical teams and managing third-party vendors.
- Experience leading cloud and data centre operations in a large complex organisation (multi £bn turnover)
- Proven ability to improve resilience and performance of IT operations, on a multi geographical scale.
- In-depth knowledge of data centre and cloud concepts.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
