We are looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about making a difference and working on a truly interesting roadmap of projects, partnering with business divisions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement and many more. This role will not sit within a never-ending team of Solution Architects with a lengthy sign-off process, nor will it only be responsible for architecting part of a solution. This role will be end-to-end influencing, designing, owning architecture, but most importantly, will play a key role in defining the architecture practice from the ground up for a brand known by most.
Ideally, weβre looking for a seasoned IT Architect with strong stakeholder engagement skills who is eager to help a large organisation mature their architecture capability, deliver on some cutting-edge technology programmes and help with architecture tool-selection. Well suited to someone from an applications background, but we have a separate Infrastructure Architect role available too.
Key Skills:
- Experience in owning and designing architecture principles/standards and focus largely at the HLD stage.
- Technical and non-technical engagement skills to build a variety of technical roadmaps.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, such as Agile, DevOps etc.
- To work with technology functions to ensure alignment with roadmaps.
If you would like to find out more about the organisation and key details around the role, please contact Tom @ Delaney & Bourton for further information. We are happy to share details with anyone who registers an interest.
The role is commutable from Leicester, Burton-on-Trent, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Tamworth, Coventry, Rugby and surrounding areas in the East Midlands.
