After 30+ years of delivering excellence in custom software, this business is entering an ambitious new phase of growth, and are looking for a commercially sharp, strategically minded AWS Alliance Lead to help shape it. This is a pivotal, high-impact role. You will own and evolve their AWS partnership, deepen relationships across AWS field teams, unlock co-sell and funding opportunities, and elevate our standing across the AWS ecosystem. This is their first hire in this space, and will have a huge opportunity to create something unique.
The Opportunity
- Own the AWS Relationship
- Build deep commercial relationships across AWS Partner, Business Development, and Professional Services teams
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual planning sessions
- Own and grow the AWS co-sell pipeline (sourced + influenced revenue)
- Develop case studies and evidence to strengthen APN positioning
- Identify and pursue high-value co-sell opportunities (£250k+ deals)
- Collaborate with sales, pre-sales and delivery to position AWS-led solutions
- Manage MDF allocation and reporting
- Align with Marketing, Sales, CTO and AWS Practice leadership on GTM strategy
- Lead joint go-to-market planning and competency development
- Drive participation across training, certifications, campaigns and events
- Represent the business at AWS partner summits and industry forums
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing cloud alliances — ideally within the Amazon Web Services ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of AWS Partner Network programmes and funding mechanisms (PoC, MAP, MDF)
- Commercial sharpness and strong stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences
- Ability to articulate AWS technical value in a consultative, outcome-focused way
