Overview: Recognised as one of the UK's top employers, this role comes with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility. The business has a sizeable Architecture function, but this role will work in a small team of Enterprise Architects and will collaborate with all core Technology departments. Operating within a regulated sector, with a number of complex transformation programmes currently underway.
Opportunity: This role will be responsible for building and developing technology roadmaps and play a significant part in maturing the capabilities. You will collaborate closely with the wider Architecture team including (Technical, Data, Solution and Business) during an exciting period of transformation with a number of IT led programmes currently underway, including but not limited to Cloud (Azure) migration, CRM implementation and a number of BI & Data Initiatives. This role will suit an Enterprise Architect, or perhaps an aspiring EA, that may have come from any of the traditional IT Architecture routes. This role will be integral in defining the future roadmap for the technologies and platforms for the organisation.
Key areas of experience:
- Experience operating as an IT Enterprise Architect, or someone coming from a Senior IT Architecture role from one of the key domain areas (App/Security/Business/Infra/Business) that sees this as their next opportunity
- Demonstrable experience building fit for purpose roadmaps, encompassing technology options, risks across enterprise environments
- An understanding of EA tooling / frameworks (not one specifically)
- Exceptional stakeholder and relationship building skills
This role can be based from anywhere commutable to the Midlands, one day a week. Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Staffordshire, Solihull, Oxford, Cotswolds, Peterborough, Cheltenham, Swindon and more.
