Role: Business Development Manager – Technology
Location: Remote, UK (expect travel in the North, Leeds, Nottingham, Sheffield, Newcastle)
Org: Digital Software Consultancy
Salary: flexible for the right person
About the role:
The first of its kind, and a greenfield opportunity for a Business Development Manager (or Growth Manager) to join a well-established, highly recognised heritage brand. The organisation has grown to over 100 employees organically, without a huge sales presence. So this is a great opportunity to really be a driving force behind the business's next phase of growth. We are currently only considering and reviewing applicants that have worked within Tech companies.
The business:
100 heads currently, large amount of Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and AWS Specialists. The current business is split into two arms: Traditional Tech consultancy (they put engineering and delivery teams on client sites and charge per head). As-A-Service, they build interesting products and proof-of-concepts, end-to-end for their clients. They are looking to grow their As-A-Service business drastically. So very much operating in the B2B Tech space.
Fancy a challenge? If you have experience of the following, we would love to hear from you:
- Must have experience working within a Tech consulting or Tech product-based business.
- Operating within the B2B space (bonus points if they build AWS Services).
- Expectations of a player/manager role – someone that enjoys still winning business.
- Able to bring strong sales processes and help the business grow a function from a standing start.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK. Would likely suit someone based in the North, as that is where HQ is and a lot of clients. Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Durham and more.
