Location: Delamere Dairy Head Office, Knutsford (Hybrid working)
Purpose of the Position
Reporting to the Finance Director and playing a significant role within the operational leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the management accounts and transactional functions. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function, leading and developing the team as the business continues to grow. To ensure timely and accurate management accounts, precise monitoring and updating of the cost model, ensuring productivity and other reports are reliable and precise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of management accounts and cost model – ensuring timely and accurate weekly and monthly reporting which is clear and concise. Updating, maintaining and reconciling profit report to management accounts.
- Contribute to the running of the business as a member of the operational leadership team.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and statutory audit schedules.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to support and challenge other areas of the business to ensure the business is tight on costs and the correct processes are in place.
- Responsible for the statutory external audit in line with legal and accounting standards and requirements, including ownership of the balance sheet.
