Experience / Qualifications

• Experience of working in schools
• Evidence of being an excellentclassroom practitioner
• The ability to work with childrenacross the primary age range.
• Being able to work with parents andcarers, outside agencies, in partnerships and collaboration to secureachievement, enrichment opportunities and resources for children.
• Qualified teacher status
• Recent, relevant in-service training- particularly in relation to teaching, learning and assessment in primaryschools.

• Able to effectively manage children’sbehaviour in a positive way.
• Able to work as part of a team, takeresponsibility, be accountable.
• Interpersonal skills - able to talkeffectively to children, parents, governors, external professionals andcolleagues.
• Able to liaise effectively withagencies, build good working relationships and rapport with colleagues.
• Able to produce careful, accurate,positive and well written reports, policies and letters.
• Able to read and use data and to usea range of sources of evidence to make judgments and identify next steps.
