Role Overview
The Specification Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth across the defined region by promoting DELABIE-DVS’s full range of commercial washroom solutions. This is a proactive role focused on winning specifications, influencing key stakeholders, and converting opportunities into long term, successful relationships. You will operate at the front end of the sales cycle, engaging with specifiers, end users, contractors, merchants, and wholesalers to position DELABIE-DVS as the preferred partner. Strategic Objective
A key focus of this role is to actively challenge and change established specification habits within the market, positioning DELABIE-DVS as the standard choice for commercial washroom solutions. Through consistent engagement, education, and specification influence, the role contributes directly to the company’s ambition of achieving market leader status within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales performance in line with company targets and growth objectives
- Secure product specifications with architects, consultants, and designers
- Influence decision-makers and challenge traditional product choices to shift specification behaviour
- Build and develop strong relationships with end users, contractors, merchants, and wholesalers
- Track and convert projects from early engagement through to completion
- Deliver engaging CPDs, presentations, and technical consultations
- Actively promote DELABIE-DVS as the go-to solution for commercial washrooms
- Maintain a strong and visible pipeline using CRM tools
- Monitor competitor activity and identify new business opportunities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-impact specification events that inspire specifiers, showcase solutions, and influence product selection in favour of DELABIE-DVS
