We have a vacancy for a Night Shift Warehouse Line Leader.
The purpose of this role is to effectively lead the warehouse and picking team to follow the plan of Goods in, Goods Out, to meet and exceed KPI’s targets, whilst ensuring Health & Safety and Company standards are maintained.
The Role
- Reporting to the area Senior Team Leader your main duties will include:
- Managing, motivating and training Warehouse Operatives, to ensure all tasks are understood and carried out efficiently in line with Company policies.
- Ensuring all customer orders are picked and loaded correctly, in line with customer requirements.
- Ensuring all relevant checks take place and are documented in line with Company and legislative requirements.
- Communicating with all relevant departments, both internal and external, including Production, Planning, QA, and third-party haulers; to ensure any issues can be addressed promptly.
- Ensuring all areas of responsibility conform to business, legal and customer requirements and that policies, procedures and Company guidelines are followed, ensuring any breach is dealt with immediately and raised with the relevant parties.
- Ensuring all Lorry drivers follow company procedures when on site
The Candidate
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a background in a similar role.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of current GMP practices in line with BRC standards.
A flexible, reliable, and a proactive approach to work are essential qualities for success in this position.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, possess excellent communication and numeracy skills, and be able to effectively manage workloads in a busy environment and to tight deadlines.
A good general education, coupled with a methodical and organised approach to tasks, is required.
The successful candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
