A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:
As an Audi Used Car Area Manager, you’ll work across approximately 25 retailers throughout the North West and Midlands, helping used car departments improve sales performance, quality and customer experience. Working closely with retailer management teams and Audi field colleagues, you’ll analyse performance data, identify opportunities for improvement and agree SMART action plans that deliver measurable results. You’ll build strong relationships across the retailer network, coach and support teams, and ensure retailers remain aligned with Audi’s short, medium and long-term objectives. With a field-based role and a varied network of retailers, no two days will be the same as you work to drive professionalism, performance and continuous improvement across the Audi used car network.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong relationships with Audi retailers and field teams, using KPI analysis and diagnostic meetings to identify opportunities to improve used car sales and quality.
- Assess and improve key areas of used car performance, including stock profile, vehicle preparation and presentation, customer enquiries, lead generation, handovers and follow-up.
- Create, implement and review SMART action plans, prioritising retailers with the greatest opportunities for improvement while maintaining effective relationships across the wider network.
- Conduct retailer visits, producing concise reports and providing coaching and guidance to support improved customer service, sales quality and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with Audi and DEKRA teams to identify process improvements, share best practice and support the delivery of departmental standards, efficiency and profitability.

- Experience working effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders within a retailer or automotive environment.
- A strong understanding of the core processes required to deliver excellence in used car sales.
- The ability to analyse business performance and demonstrate practical commercial and financial awareness.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to develop the capability of stakeholders within retailer businesses.
- A good understanding of used car marketing strategies and how these can support retailer performance.
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to work independently in a field-based role and manage priorities across a number of retailer sites.
- Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills.

- Experience identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities within local or national automotive markets.
- Previous experience working within a franchised automotive retailer or manufacturer environment.
- Experience in a field-based performance improvement, consultancy, coaching or account management role.
