We are seeking an experienced Window & Door Service Engineer to join our team, carrying out remedial work and resolving issues at customers’ homes and commercial sites. You will work closely with our customer service team to ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and rectify installation issues for aluminum, and UPVC window and door products
- Carry out repairs and adjustments on-site, ensuring high-quality workmanship and exceptional attention to detail
- Work both independently and as part of a team across various UK locations
- Communicate professionally with customers, providing a friendly and confident service
- Maintain accurate written reports following each visit
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including working at heights when required
Requirements
- Proven experience working with aluminum, and UPVC window and door products
- Sound installation and repair knowledge
- Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
- Ability to commit to overnight stays of up to 5 nights per week as required by the role
- Blue or Gold CSCS Card holder
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Presentable appearance with a professional attitude
- Good literacy, numeracy, and reporting skills
- Within commutable distance to either our Ashton or Swindon site
- Experience working with Deceuninck, Residence Collection products or aluminium systems
- Additional relevant trade or industry qualifications
