Role overview

As an Internal Account Handler, you will be the first point of contact on a day-to-day basis.

You will build & maintain excellent customer relationships and manage all activities across your portfolio of new & existing customers.

Working within a team and liaising with various internal departments ensuring we deliver on customer expectations.

Through effective communication, networking and good customer service, your role will be vital in maintaining good relationships and growing our existing customer base alongside the BDM’s, ensuring they have a high level of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Day to day multiple customer management and contact, liaising with them confirming order details, delivery dates and any issues such as missing items.
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by co-ordinating the activities of the team, and necessary department heads, and following up to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Understanding existing customers' strategic objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
  • Liaise with transport regarding orders and deliveries
  • Liaise with production for updates on the last call report and deal with any actions required
  • Confident and experienced professional to sell to existing customer base and up-sell on existing products and cross-sell of new.

Build relationships across customers and help provide an amazing service, through collaborating with internal teams.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines/ targets.
