To provide expert technical consultancy and guidance on complex mechanical and rotating equipment matters. This role supports engineering studies, design functions, and problem resolution in areas where industry standards and practices may be undefined or under development.
Key Responsibilities: Function Description Technical Support- Provide in-house consultancy and troubleshoot issues in mechanical and rotating equipment.
– Investigate plant issues and propose solutions. Engineering Assignments- Execute complex engineering projects independently.
– Interpret and apply technical codes and standards. Plant Support- Work with Operations & Maintenance teams, providing on-site solutions and technical guidance.Procurement & Inspections- Conduct factory inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.Project Cost Control- Implement cost control procedures to maintain project budgets.Leadership & Mentorship- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.Reporting- Prepare accurate and timely reports for internal use. Coaching & Development- Support the development of employee technical capabilities.Health, Safety & Environment- Ensure strict compliance with all safety and environmental procedures.Additional Duties- Act as backup to Mechanical and Rotating Equipment Engineers when required.
