The Contracts Engineer will support contract management and compliance within the Excellence & Compliance Department. The role ensures that contract drafting, administration, and monitoring processes align with internal policies, operational excellence standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or Business (Contracts/Procurement).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management/administration within the oil and gas industry.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law. Experience in contractor KPI tracking (HSE, quality, operational excellence).
- Standards & Systems: Strong understanding of the Operational Excellence (OE) framework. Proficiency in SAP or equivalent contract administration systems.
- Preferred Exposure: Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and change management.
