Job Description:
Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Wrexham store.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.
At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. In return for your hard work, you will be offered fantastic opportunities to grow and develop within your retail career.
This is a part-time, permanent position with a 4-hour weekly contract. Ideal candidates are those with energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a busy shop floor, and remain calm under pressure. Key responsibilities include:
- Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable product information.
- Processing sales transactions at the till.
- Recommending and promoting complementary products.
- Collaborating with the team to meet sales targets and KPIs.
- Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are full.
- Processing stock deliveries promptly.
- Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy.
- Performing additional duties as required.
