Deichmann are currently recruiting for the Warehouse Team Leader in our Distribution Centre in Corby, Northamptonshire. You will join a successful, international retail brand, work within a fast paced, welcoming and growing team in a secure company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational demand and meet set targets.
- Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements.
- Report progress updates, key achievements, and any concerns to the DC Manager.
- Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility.
- Ensure all the warehouse related tasks are completed up to high standard.
- Produce regular reports and statistics as and when required.
- Manage time and attendance for operatives within area of responsibility and support Managers with people management issues.
- Support with any HR related tasks i.e., Return to Work, note taking and investigations.
- Promote a happy warehouse environment by engaging your team.
- Open or close the site premises.
- Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.
- Ensure that all equipment is well maintained and used with purpose.
- Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to.
