Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join our Westwood Cross store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

This is a part-time, temporary position, contracted for 8 hours per week. The ideal candidate:

• Has energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
• Possesses a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service.
• Works well within a team and maintains stamina on a busy shop floor.
• Can work calmly under pressure.

Key activities include:

• Approaching customers and providing helpful, knowledgeable information about products.
• Processing sales transactions at the till.
• Recommending and promoting complementary products.
• Collaborating with team members to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Replenishing stock to ensure shelves are full.
• Processing stock deliveries efficiently.
• Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy.
• Performing additional duties as required.
