Overview

Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Horsham store. You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
  • Serving customers at the till – processing sales transactions.
  • Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
  • Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
  • Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean and tidy, to a high standard.
  • Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • The drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
  • The commitment to work 8 hours per week and the flexibility to work any day over the weekend.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

Salary and Employment Type

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to Β£12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission. This is a part-time, permanent position contracted to 8 hours per week.
