Purpose
Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our Hanley store team. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience and supervisory skills.
Key Activities
- Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Open and close the store, including cashing up and completing administrative duties.
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate strong product knowledge.
- Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
- Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
- Support team members as needed.
- Ensure the store is well merchandised with attractive product displays.
- Manage stock deliveries and store transfers.
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
- Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and work with a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to serve all customers.
- Drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Methodical with attention to detail, including stock SKU management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work 16 hours per week, any day from Monday to Sunday.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate of up to £13.41 plus non-contractual sales commission.
