Job Description:
Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Cover Supervisor to join the team in our Warrington store. As a Retail Cover Supervisor, you will support other stores as required, including Warrington, Chester, Birkenhead, and Hanley.
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.41 plus non-contractual sales commission. Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
This is a full-time, permanent position, contracted for 30-40 hours per week. Candidates with a full UK driving licence are preferred due to the need to support multiple stores.
Ideal candidates are energetic, driven, and passionate about working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment. You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Previous retail and supervisory experience is preferred.
Key activities include:
- Leading and supervising the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Opening and closing stores, including cashing up and administrative duties.
- Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Promoting products and achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Supporting team members as needed.
- Ensuring proper merchandising and store presentation.
- Processing stock deliveries and transfers.
- Handling customer queries and complaints.
Personal characteristics:
- Ability to follow management directions.
- Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Team leadership, motivation, and coaching skills.
