Your role will support the store management team in a part‑time, permanent position with 25 hours per week, Monday‑Sunday flexibility. You will lead the store, ensuring excellent customer service and an engaging shopping experience. Competitive pay: up to £13.91 per hour plus a non‑contractual, hourly sales commission.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Open & close the store, including cashing up and completing associated administrative duties.
- Offer excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
- Lead by example, recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
- Assist management in leading the team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
- Support team members as required.
- Ensure the store is correctly merchandised; product displays are refreshed and inviting.
- Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Self‑motivated with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and work with a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
- Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
- Methodical approach to completing daily tasks, including stock SKU management.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
- Commitment to work 25 hours per week and flexibility to work any day Monday‑Sunday.
