Purpose: HR Assistant £25,500 per annum Full time, fully office based 5 days per week. We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career within HR in a fast-paced head office environment. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will provide an efficient and timely general administrative/clerical support function to the HR Dept, ensuring all systems remain current and organised.
Additionally, you will be the first line response for external and internal enquiries and requests to the HR Dept, escalating issues where necessary.
Ideal candidate:We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in, but not limited to, Customer Service, Recruitment or any general administrative role.
Key activities:- Provide clerical/administrative support to the HR functions
- Process documentation relating to personal activities i.e. recruitment, training, grievances and maternity
- Update HR database, prepare and produce reports and information as necessary
- Prepare documentation for ER matters
- Receive calls to the department, providing advice and guidance on HR issues where appropriate or referring matters to the HR Manager as necessary
- Support recruitment activities across the business including publishing of job advertisements, coordination of interview arrangements, responding to recruitment email queries
To be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and/or to have worked at this level. Effective communication skills both written.
