: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join the team in our Manchester store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to Β£13.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.
At Deichmann, our Retail Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate has energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
You should have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to lead a team, stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
Previous retail experience is required, ideally with supervisory experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Opening & closing the store, including cashing up and completing associated administrative duties.
- Providing excellent customer service and demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
- Assisting management in leading the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Supporting team members as needed.
- Ensuring the store is correctly merchandised, with refreshed and inviting product displays.
- Processing stock deliveries and store transfers.
- Handling customer queries and complaints.
Personal characteristics include:
- Ability to follow management instructions regarding additional tasks.
- Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and work with a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
- Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
- Methodical approach to daily tasks, including stock SKU management.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Willingness to work 30 hours per week, any day from Monday to Sunday.
