Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Bury store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. In return for your hard work, you will be offered fantastic opportunities for you to grow and develop within your retail career. This is a part-time, permanent position and you will be contracted to work 4 hours per week.

You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
Key activities
- Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
- Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
- Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
- Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
- Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
- Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
- Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.
