Deichmann seeks an enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to join the team in our Chesterfield store. This part‑time permanent position will involve supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to customers. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.91 per hour plus non‑contractual hourly sales commission, along with opportunities to grow and develop within your retail career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Open and close the store, including cashing up and completing associated administrative duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service and strong product knowledge.
  • Promote complementary products with each sale.
  • Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Support team members as required.
  • Ensure correct merchandising and refreshed product displays.
  • Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints.

  • Take direction from management regarding additional tasks and duties.
  • Previous supervisory experience including cashing up and banking.
  • Self‑motivated, positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, coach and work with a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to daily tasks, including stock SKU management.
