Position Details

- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with infrequent weekend overtime available
- Location: We are based in Glossop, Derbyshire. This role is a nationwide “on the road” position, meaning there may be time spent away from home. When working away from home is required, this will be carefully managed to ensure a good work life balance.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our small and friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement solutions
- Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Document service activities, including service reports and parts usage
- Collaborate with the engineering and office team to provide feedback on product performance and remedial actions
Experience Required
- Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Outstanding communication skills and customer-oriented approach
