Job Description
Helio Intelligence brings together the expertise of DeHavilland and Forefront Advisers, two established leaders in political monitoring and intelligence. Backed by private equity firms Bowmark and Bridgepoint, we are rapidly expanding across the UK. With a client base of over 800 organisations, including global financial institutions, leading non-profits, and FTSE 100 companies, we pride ourselves on delivering premium products and services, with branding and communications to match.
We’re now looking for a Junior Designer to join our marketing team and take responsibility for the visual output of the group and its brands. The Junior Designer should have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design for both print and digital channels and be confident in pitching design ideas and developing visual languages.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the marketing team and collaborate with content creation teams across the business to support the ongoing development of brand identities. You’ll also produce marketing assets and client product materials, from social graphics to long-form publications.

Brand development and visual identity
- Evolve and extend the visual language of our group and sub-brands across all touchpoints
- Ensure visual consistency and alignment between brands and the overarching group identity
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, championing high standards across all design work
Creative design and content production
- Pitch ideas and design visually compelling materials for reports, briefings, social media, presentations, and events
- Collaborate with content and policy teams to bring long-form editorial work to life
- Create templates, toolkits, and scalable design systems for internal and external use
- Support on video and animation assets for individual campaigns
Your experience and attributes
- Strong graphic design skills across digital and print media (e.g. presentations, publications, reports, adverts, banners)
- A solid understanding of visual identity systems and how to apply them creatively and consistently
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work at pace
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, you should be comfortable receiving feedback and working with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience in video or animation is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with traditional layout and publication design is a bonus
