Your mission is to report to the CFO. The Finance Manager position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in financial control and management. The Finance Manager has overarching responsibility for delivering the day-to-day finance and administration tasks, producing accurate and timely financial information, whilst adhering to company accounting policies and practices, along with driving process improvements and professionalisation across the wider business. This role offers a dynamic mix of routine duties and exciting ad-hoc projects, perfect for those who thrive on variety and continuous improvement.
Your profile includes:
- Strong track record of experience working in a financial control environment
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT) or qualified by experience
- Proven experience of preparing finalised Management Accounts
- Able to work effectively both as part of a team and individually
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Essential to demonstrate ability to achieve tight reporting deadlines
- Excellent IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and financial systems
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication
- Quality and accuracy in all areas of work
- Being able to work independently when needed, but also as part of the team
