About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Adult Services Team Leader to support the day-to-day delivery of a specialist adult service for neurodivergent adults who require tailored support in both wellbeing and learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and values-led care professional to join a service committed to delivering high standards, personalised support, and meaningful outcomes. You will play a key leadership role within the team, helping to ensure the service is safe, effective, person-centred, and aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the adult service
  • Leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding support and care
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and practice excellence
  • Working in partnership with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals
  • Supporting the development and review of Personal Support Plans
  • Monitoring individual progress and ensuring personal outcomes are being achieved
  • Contributing to a service culture that values reflection, collaboration, and high-quality practice
  • Helping to ensure the service remains compliant with relevant standards and legislation

  • Enjoy working collaboratively and building positive relationships with others

Essential Requirements

  • SVQ Level 3 / SCQF Level 7 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience of leading or supervising a care/support team
  • Working knowledge of Health and Social Care Standards
  • Understanding of SSSC Codes of Practice
  • Experience of working collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals
  • Experience developing and reviewing support plans and personal outcomes
  • willingness to work towards Care Inspectorate Registered Manager requirements
  • Experience supporting neurodivergent adults
  • Ability to use or understand Makaton (Desirable)
