Defour Partnership is working exclusively with a fantastic social care charity recruiting for a Regional Operations Lead based in North Yorkshire.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic‑minded leader to join the team as a Regional Operations Lead to accelerate the Charity’s overall strategic direction and vision.

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving compliance and supporting growth strategies, expanding their presence across Yorkshire. You will collaborate with leaders within your portfolio to deliver high quality innovative and evolving support which exceeds the expectations of commissioners, regulators, and governing bodies, fostering robust relationships with all stakeholders existing and aspirational.

Salary £50, plus £3, car allowance, flexible working and other benefits.

The core responsibilities within this role include (the list is not exhaustive) :

• Ensuring and maintaining full compliance with all regulatory and contract requirements, while consistently delivering high‑quality service within commissioned hours.
• Driving innovation and positive risk‑taking as well as sharing experiences across the Charity.
• Empowering and leading operational teams to deliver exceptional work and outstanding support to those served, guiding colleagues and cultivating a high‑performing team
• Develop growth plans and developing the Charity’s presence in the region.
• Building networks of excellence both within and outside of the Charity to share good practice and learning
• Taking a data‑driven approach to service improvement, pushing improvements in management information
• Championing a digital first approach to care.
• Responsible for the operational and financial performance of a number of services

Qualifications and Experience

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or earlier equivalent qualifications such as Level 4 NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services (LMCS) or Registered Manager’s Award (RMA) or commitment to achieve within 18 months.
• Experience of supporting individuals with disabilities and / or people who are on the autistic spectrum and may have other health‑led and / or complex needs.
• Experience in the principles of auditing and the quality improvement in operational settings
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the social care sector, including knowledge of key stakeholders and funding mechanisms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of legislative frameworks, ability to keep up to date with key practice developments and operating models in adult social care,
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple elements simultaneously and prioritise effectively in a demanding environment.
• Ability to motivate leaders, to influence and negotiate the delivery of the strategic objectives.
