We are a fast-growing B2B publisher in the financial services and employee benefits sector, with thousands of subscribers in over 100 countries. Our publications and events are growing is growing we are looking for a multidisciplinary Designer & Magazine Sub-Editor to take the creative lead on our print magazine production and extend their skills across marketing and event design assets. You’ll sit at the heart of our editorial and marketing teams, ensuring that every output—from quarterly magazines to digital campaigns—embodies our brand identity and editorial standards.

You’ll own the visual storytelling of our flagship magazine and play a key role in the visual execution of content across events, newsletters, social campaigns, and more. This role demands both strong visual design skills and editorial precision.

Key Responsibilities

Magazine Design & Sub-Editing

  • Lead layout and visual design for our print and digital magazines using InDesign and all the creative tools/ software
  • Own the magazine production timeline, from flatplan to press delivery
  • Collaborate with editors, writers, and illustrators to deliver compelling and beautifully designed spreads
  • Apply house style rigorously across all pages and sub-edit copy for grammar, tone, and consistency
  • Work with printers to prepare and proof final artwork

Marketing & Campaign Design

  • Design assets for digital marketing campaigns including banners, emails, and social posts
  • Create branded templates and visuals for our newsletters and editorial campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs, from internal decks to public-facing materials

Event & Brand Collateral

  • Design on-site assets including signage, agendas, backdrops, and presentations
  • Work closely with event producers on the visual identity of each event
  • Produce merch designs, swag, and print materials to enhance attendee experience.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years of experience in editorial or brand design (preferably in a media or publishing context)
  • Deep proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Meticulous sub-editing and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for typographic detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and production timelines simultaneously
  • A strong visual portfolio that includes print, digital, and campaign work

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Figma and Canva for team collaboration
  • Experience with CMS systems and basic HTML for email layouts
  • Knowledge of print production processes and colour management
  • A love of magazines, journalism, and editorial design
