You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to transform complex data into simple, beautiful and intuitive user experiences that push the boundaries of what is possible in the LegalTech space. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design of solutions for AI-driven workflows and user interaction with machine learning data, making them accessible and valuable for our customers.

As a Lead UI/UX Designer, your mission will be to lead the design of user experiences that make our technology intuitive and impactful across the different aspects of our platform. You will not only create aesthetically pleasing and highly functional designs but also guide other designers in doing so, ensuring our users extract clear value from complex outputs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside Product Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design is seamlessly integrated into the development process, aligning with product goals and user needs. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers. Facilitate workshops and design thinking sessions to drive innovation and solve complex design challenges.
  • Drive the Iterative Design Process: Employ a test-learn-iterate approach to create and improve designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and business goals. Establish and monitor key UX metrics to measure the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design Beautiful AI Interfaces: Create user interfaces that make complex data understandable, actionable, and visually appealing for our users. Set the bar for high-quality visual design and interaction patterns across the team.
  • Simplify Complex Data: Translate complex data and the almost limitless scope of features into simple and intuitive designs that are easy to interact with. Champion user-centered design principles and ensure they are applied consistently across all projects.
  • Set and Enforce Design Standards: Help establish design guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across multiple products, while making sure they align with the broader company and product portfolio identity. Explore creative ways to push the envelope for our products and services. Mentor and guide other designers in applying design standards and best practices.
About you
  • Extensive UX Design Experience: You have 8+ years of experience designing intuitive and visually appealing user experiences, with a proven track record of leading design projects and teams. Exposure to AI or complex data-driven products is a significant plus.
  • Deep Understanding of User-Centred Design: You put the user at the center of your designs, making interfaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and user-friendly. You have a strong understanding of UX research methodologies and can effectively advocate for user needs.
  • Exceptional Collaboration and Communication Skills: You thrive in cross-functional teams and can work effectively with engineers, product managers, and customers to turn ideas into tangible solutions. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Mindset: You are proactive in tackling large and ambiguous design challenges, breaking them down into structured tasks that can add value with each incremental delivery.
  • Mastery of Designing for Simplicity: You have a talent for simplifying complexity, turning broad systems into clear, actionable interfaces that users can easily navigate.
  • Strong Visual Design Skills: You have a keen eye for detail and know how to create visually compelling designs that align with product and business goals.
  • Leadership and Mentoring Abilities: You have experience mentoring and guiding other designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. You are capable of providing constructive feedback and helping other designers develop their skills.
