Responsibilities include supporting the non-nuclear material and service requirements for the NAVSEA Portsmouth Naval Shipyard maintenance availability both on and off yard. Perform in-depth research and analysis of supply orders’ validity and compliance with regulations. Execute supply transactions such as data entry, report generation, retrieval, and detailed research. Conduct exhaustive research, including identification of alternate available items, vendors, sources of supply, procurement methods, or root-cause analysis of major discrepancies. Contact customers, supply organizations, transportation units, and other stakeholders regarding price changes, special handling, material status, urgent requirement follow-up, and expedite delivery of material to work sites.

- Tour of Duty: Set Schedule – Mon-Fri (07:30–16:00).

Qualifications:
- GS-05 Level: Maintain customer data and respond to inquiries. Provide order status information and ensure timely support. Ensure accuracy of supply documents and expedite material within supply agencies.
- GS-06 Level: Provide supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations requiring special handling. Investigate, coordinate, and process requisitions for corrective actions to ensure proper automated system flow. Identify alternate supply sources to meet required dates.
- GS-07 Level: Maintain data in automated supply systems to respond to inquiries and process a wide variety of routine and complex transactions and adjustments. Follow up on unfulfilled orders and process cancellations as needed. Conduct extensive searches, research problems, and resolve material issues. Track and provide status of actions or availability of lateral and cross-agency supply sources to avoid or alleviate work stoppages. Ensure configuration control on all repair part requisitions.
