Our client, a leading company in the defence and security sector, is seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join their Estates Delivery team within UK Defence Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide multi-skilled maintenance services primarily related to building fabric, including tasks such as replacing ceiling tiles, blinds, lock changes, minor door repairs, unblocking drains, and conducting descales.
  • Support other planned, responsive, and demand maintenance requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality business services with moderate supervision and guidance, adhering to defined procedures.
  • Resolve standard queries and escalate more complex issues to senior team members.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, communicating with tact and diplomacy.
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities within your role, assisting with continuous improvement projects and activities.
  • Be part of the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team as required.
  • Develop professional and technical competence through structured learning and work assignments.

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in multi-skilled maintenance, including installations, planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance in relation to site services, plant/equipment, and buildings.
  • Delivery of specialist building fabric/systems support and services, maintaining knowledge and awareness of building and energy standards.
  • Experience in implementing and applying robust health, safety, and environmental procedures and processes.
  • Quality control experience to ensure maintenance standards and the quality of work delivered are to the required level.
  • Proven experience in ensuring all key assets are available and appropriately maintained, making recommendations on improvements where necessary.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT applications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ in a vocational field or evidence of recent relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Full driving licence.
