Working: The role offers flexible working but does require engineers on site for 2/3 days per week and is on a secure site where SC clearance is needed.

Site locations: Bristol, Hertfordshire or Greater Manchester.

As a Portfolio Delivery Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in coordinating engineering activities across a diverse portfolio of products and programmes. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading portfolio-level engineering activities across multiple programmes and projects.
  • Identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and obsolescence challenges.
  • Supporting the development of innovative solutions that improve efficiency, commonality, modularity, and product reuse.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure plans and dependencies are aligned across the wider portfolio.
  • Reviewing predicted and realised programme benefits to ensure delivery remains technically achievable.
  • Acting as a key interface between engineering teams, centres of excellence, operational functions, and programme stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and helping develop new ways of working.
  • Influencing decisions that enhance operational performance, product sustainability, and long-term business value.
