The role:

  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities for NPI builds from bid/proposal through to full-rate production.
  • Take ownership of schedule, cost, quality, and manufacturing best practice.
  • Act as the technical manufacturing authority during NPI execution.
  • Ensure products are production-ready, robust, and optimised before release.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • HND (minimum) in Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong background in electro-mechanical manufacturing or Electronics.
  • Broad understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical product design.
  • Proven contribution to production efficiency, optimisation, and improvement.
  • Solid knowledge of: Design for Excellence (DfX) / Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement / Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with process FMEA and risk-based manufacturing decisions.

Desirable Experience:

  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) processes.
  • Experience across multiple manufacturing technologies and platforms.
