A leading engineering organisation is seeking a talented Electronic Systems Engineer to play a key role in the design and integration of complex electronic systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work on advanced, high-integrity engineering projects within a collaborative and innovative environment. They work on a Hybrid basis, with 2-3 days per week onsite, at either their Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton offices.
The Role
As an Electronic Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of system-level design and integration, translating high-level requirements into robust, fully integrated hardware solutions. You'll be responsible for defining system architectures, breaking down complex equipment into subsystems, and ensuring seamless connectivity across interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system-level electronic design from concept through to deployment
- Define system architectures, interfaces, and interconnects
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, including:
- System schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- Interface control documentation
- Block diagrams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, firmware, manufacturing)
- Support system integration, validation, and acceptance testing
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve system-level issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
