Materials Controller (Ref: 1175) 6 Month Contract Basildon based. Onsite full time. £25-£27 ph, PAYE / £33.59-£36.26 ph, Umbrella (inside IR35) SC clearance required. You can start this role on BPSS. What you will be doing as a Material Controller: Organising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area. Maintaining traceability of all production materials and finished goods. Contributing to the creation and update of the Master Production Schedule Organising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materials Working with engineers to ensure build standard integrity is maintained. Generating and managing works orders for new build and repair activities. Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule. Generation of shipping documentation Booking of UK and export shipments via freight forwarders/couriers Organising the processing of customer repairs Monitoring of shelf life product Control and reporting of Government furnished assets Liaising with external suppliers and customers Management inventory SAP system issue resolution What we need from you: Experience of planning and controlling materials in a manufacturing environment is desirable although other comparable experience would be considered. Experience of SAP or similar manufacturing executions systems is also highly desirable. We require someone who is an organised, logical thinker, numerate, willing to learn and a proactive self-starter. JBRP1_UKTJ
