Digital & Hardware Electronics Design Lead
High-Speed | MPSoC FPGA | AI Acceleration
Based in Stevenage or Bristol
Hybrid working (typically 3-4 days on site, depending on project needs)

The Opportunity
- Lead the electronics design and development of high-speed MPSoC FPGA and AI hardware solutions
- Work on advanced applications including SDR, radar signal processing and sensor fusion
- Support the Technical Lead / Architect, collaborating closely with systems, software, firmware, mechanical and production teams
- Help define elegant, optimised hardware solutions that meet demanding customer and system requirements
- Take ownership of the high-speed digital design, while leading all electronics design activity through the full product development lifecycle
- Play a key role in shaping robust, scalable hardware architectures for complex, safety-critical systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in complex, high-speed digital electronics design
- Experience with MPSoC FPGA, DDR & Flash memory, and high-speed serial interconnects
- Experience in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis
- Proficiency in VHDL to support board-level test and debug
- Proficiency in C, C++ or Python for hardware validation and debug
- Familiarity with DSP concepts for SDR, radar signal processing or optical sensor systems
- Strong academic background to support this technically demanding role
- A desire to drive collaboration, influence architecture, and ensure successful delivery
- Excellent ability to configure and document designs to a high professional standard
