Based in the Operations team, the Administrative Officer is responsible for general administration that is required for the delivery of DRM outputs, specifically the processing of Armed Forces Covenant applications and the monitoring of the AFC inbox. The AO is required to directly support the Assistant Director Operations in addition to carrying out administrative work for all of DRM outputs. The AO is required to directly support AD Operations in respect of the CRM database as well as for other tasks.
Principal Areas of Accountability, Tasks and Duties
- Processing Armed Forces Covenant applications
- Manage the processing of all new covenant applications.
- Communicate with DRM employees and employers on AFC signings to resolve any queries.
- Liaise with DRM Research Officer for AFC due diligence checks.
- Send Armed Forces Covenant confirmations.
- Assist in maintaining gov.uk including publishing successful covenants.
- Enter covenant details onto the CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Contribute to maintaining and cleaning AFC data on the CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Update stakeholders monthly on new signings through the use of dashboards and reports.

Success Profile Skills and Qualifications
- Be computer literate on appointment and within three months have an understanding of DRM systems (training will be provided): CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Be highly competent, on appointment, in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Additional Details
This role may require occasional travel within the UK, including attending evening or weekend events to assist in the delivery of DRM outputs. The job holder is required to participate in all aspects of training and development, as identified in discussions with DRM Chief of Staff, to make use of all relevant opportunities for training that may improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their appointment. The job holder is to be aware that Health and Safety is the responsibility of all employees and that they should ensure that their designated working area complies with statutory requirements in accordance with current H&S legislation. The job holder is required to comply with the RFCAs’ Code of Conduct and to avoid any conduct which discriminates against colleagues, potential employees or contractors on the grounds of any protected characteristics, as identified by the Equality Act 2010. Ensure compliance with data protection/freedom of information requirements. Security clearance checks, appropriate to grade and job role will be undertaken. The job holder may be requested to undertake additional or other activities of a similar nature to those within this job description, which fall within the capabilities and which are commensurate with the grade.
