The Aquatrine Private Finance Initiative (PFI) delivers Water and Waste Water (WWW) infrastructure & services in support of those living, working and training on the defence estate. Three Industry Partners termed Aquatrine Service Providers (ASPs) are charged with delivering the service and the contracts are managed on behalf of DIO by the Aquatrine Contract Management Team (CMT).
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
As the CMT Assurance and Performance Manager you will be the central focus for the completion of Service Delivery & Assurance activities of the delivery of the Water and WWW Services by the ASPs. The post holder will provide management support for the operational team and will be the first line of escalation for service delivery and contractual issues that are not easily solved and which can be varied and complex. You will also lead and support all aspects of the PFI activity, liaising with ASPs and internal stakeholders and securing all required data and information thus enabling a smooth transition to alternative delivery models with minimal impact to service delivery.
The post holder will be a key member of the CMT management team, supporting where necessary acting on behalf of the Team Leader in providing Leadership, identifying risks and issues and providing direction as appropriate. The post holder will be responsible for the Line Management of up to 4 direct C2 reports covering Service Delivery and Performance.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Developing, leading and managing the Assurance Work streams, promoting a collaborative environment developing and building capability.
- Ensuring strong collaborative relationships are developed with ASPs and Wider DIO/MOD stakeholders to support assurance and delivery of contractual obligations to provide a high level of service to estate users.
- Attend & Participate at Contract Management Meetings.
- Provide escalation and support for the Performance Manager be the intermediary between the ASP and MOD.
- Developing and executing the Annual Assurance Programme, and completing assurance activities.
- Supporting the PFI Exit Programme and under the Project Managers direction leading on specific areas of activity as required.
- Lead and Develop a small team.
A full driving License is required as many sites are not accessible by public transport and overnight stays may be required on occasion.
