The Mechanical Engineering function is responsible for the design, development, test, and documentation of mechanical assemblies for products, which includes new development, change orders, process improvements, and documentation. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will support designs throughout the concept, development and production stages of the system life cycle. Responsibilities: Supporting the definition of Mechanical architecture, system and sub-system requirements and their validation and verification. Support to developing, documenting and delivering viable mechanical solutions for complex systems using the company engineering toolsets. Creation and peer review of technical artefacts, including mechanical design documentation, design data packs, analysis, plans and procedures in accordance with our product development framework. Development of the project mechanical test solution, and test procedures to support the verification of the hardware. Supporting the mechanical integration, verification and acceptance testing collecting and presenting evidence as necessary. Prepare and present mechanical technical solutions and risks to stakeholders (internal and external) Provision of in-service and production support to internal and external customers May act in technical led role on specific projects or activities.
