Once you're settled through your probationary period, we would like to support you to develop further so that you can gradually take on your own account management responsibilities.

Defaqto is one of the UK’s most trusted sources of financial product and market intelligence. By bringing together product data, technology and consumer insight, we help everyone make smarter, more informed financial choices now and in the future. In doing so, we hope to raise industry standards, power consumer choice and help the industry meet evolving customer needs.

Defaqto has been growing the client bank and revenues from investment sales successfully for several years, and your role will be to support and enable this growth. The team sells Ratings, Research Systems and sponsorships into the investment, pensions and protection sector.

What you’ll do:

  • Support and enable your sales team colleagues in terms of sales administration - manage and coordinate bookings, prepare sales reporting, invoices and provide contract support.
  • Work closely with the team to enable mass client communications.
  • Design and develop engaging and on-brand sales collateral.
  • Work with individual members of the Investment Sales Team to deliver ad hoc support as needed and further evolve the Sales Support Role in the context of Investment Sales.

Client Management:

Once you’ve successfully completed your training and probationary period, your duties and responsibilities will expand into:

  • Responding to direct client requests.
  • Exploiting new sales opportunities as they present themselves.
  • Supporting the evolution of clients in areas of new proposition launches.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Educated to A-Level as a minimum, grade 5 or higher at GCSE Maths.
  • Foundation knowledge of Retail Financial Products in the broad areas of Pensions, Investments and Protection is highly desirable.
  • Good foundations in using Microsoft Office tools, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and CoPilot.
  • Creative ability - you’ll be helping create and design sales assets.
  • Highly organised, able to multi-task.

Experience:

  • Experience working within a Sales or Marketing Team in a sales admin role.
  • Some experience working in Financial Services is beneficial.

Your approach to work:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Happy to take the initiative but ask when you’re not sure.
  • Keen to develop your skills and grow into an account management position.
  • Comfortable working at pace - delivering on time and accurately.
  • Focused, happy to take ownership of your work.

Location:

This is a remote role, but from time to time, you may be required to attend client meetings offsite, and periodic attendance at the Defaqto offices in either London or Haddenham (Head Office) will be essential.

Right to Work:

Applicants must already hold a legal right to work in the UK without time restrictions. We are currently unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
