Growth role! We\’re looking for an experienced candidate to own and evolve our sales forecasting models, monitor pipeline health and analyse market trends, which will contribute directly to revenue optimisation and strategic planning.

Role Purpose

We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to help drive Defaqto’s commercial success. You’ll improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decisions, and keep sales, marketing, and finance working in sync.

Working with the Head of Commercial Operations, you’ll enhance sales performance, refine forecasting, and optimise compensation planning. You’ll own sales forecasting models, track pipeline health, and analyse market trends to support revenue growth and strategic planning.

This role is perfect for someone who loves improving processes, using data to shape decisions, and helping teams work smarter. As our business grows, you’ll help develop team capability and ensure our commercial operations scale effectively.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Optimise sales performance and forecasting
  • Enhance commercial processes and insights

What you\\\’ll need to succeed

  • 3 years+ in a similar role (commercial operations, sales operations or revenue operations) – ideally within a fintech environment
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Track record of improving operational efficiency
  • Ideally a BA in business, marketing, finance or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations including sales forecasting, pipeline management and compensation planning
  • Practical experience using CRMs, business intelligence tools and cross-functional commercial workflows
  • Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities

Location

We operate a hybrid working policy at Defaqto and so you\\\’d be expected to be in the office (Haddenham, Bucks) at least once or twice each week.

Right to Work

We are currently unable provide sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa so you will need to hold the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
