Growth role! We are looking for an experienced candidate to own and evolve our sales forecasting models, monitor pipeline health and analyse market trends, which will contribute directly to revenue optimisation and strategic planning.

Role Purpose: We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to help drive Defaqto's commercial success. You will improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decisions, and keep sales, marketing, and finance working in sync. Working with the Head of Commercial Operations, you will enhance sales performance, refine forecasting, and optimise compensation planning. You will own sales forecasting models, track pipeline health, and analyse market trends to support revenue growth and strategic planning. This role is perfect for someone who loves improving processes, using data to shape decisions, and helping teams work smarter. As our business grows, you will help develop team capability and ensure our commercial operations scale effectively.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Optimise sales performance and forecasting
- Enhance commercial processes and insights
What you will need to succeed:
- 3 years+ in a similar role (commercial operations, sales operations or revenue operations) - ideally within a fintech environment
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Track record of improving operational efficiency
- Ideally a BA in business, marketing, finance or related discipline
- Strong understanding of commercial operations including sales forecasting, pipeline management and compensation planning
- Practical experience using CRMs, business intelligence tools and cross-functional commercial workflows
- Ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy at Defaqto and so you would be expected to be in the office (Haddenham, Bucks) at least once or twice each week.
