Application Deadline: 30 October 2026 Department: Marketing Location: London Role Overview This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of Defaqto's retail marketing strategy across general insurance, retail banking and comparison website audiences. You'll own the go-to-market direction for our flagship Star Ratings proposition and Matrix360 market intelligence platform, while leading the development of an exciting new consumer-facing proposition. Working closely with Product, Sales and senior leadership, you'll play a central role in driving commercial growth and strengthening Defaqto's position as a trusted authority in financial services. You'll also help develop a growing marketing team and provide leadership across key strategic initiatives. A combination of B2B and B2C experience is required. What you'll do Develop and deliver the marketing strategy for retail financial services audiences, including general insurers, retail banks and aggregators. Define positioning, messaging, audience segmentation and personas. Lead the launch and growth of Defaqto's consumer proposition, increasing awareness and understanding of Star Ratings. Own go-to-market activity for Star Ratings and Matrix360, driving engagement, adoption and commercial growth. Partner with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to bring new propositions and enhancements to market. Identify and implement the most effective channel mix across content, partnerships, digital, social and other marketing activity. Establish meaningful KPIs, monitor performance and provide insight-driven recommendations. Lead our flagship Provider Conference, working closely with Events and Content teams. Act as the senior marketing voice for the retail proposition, influencing stakeholders across the business. Manage and develop two Marketing Associates.
