Overview: We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Labourer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well‑organised site at all times.
- Carry out regular boundary fence checks to ensure security and compliance.
- When opening plots, ensure safe access and egress, including appropriate stairwell protection.
- Keep all walkways clear and ensure barriers and safety controls are secure.
- Perform light and heavy manual handling tasks as required by daily operations.
- Work independently when necessary, following lone‑working procedures.
- Follow all site Health & Safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with management, subcontractors and site contacts, reporting any hazards or concerns promptly.
- Remove debris and waste materials from the site to maintain safe working conditions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support the implementation of new processes or enhancements.
- Safely operate hand and power tools in line with training and site regulations.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Skills / Experience:
- Previous labouring or construction experience preferred (but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- CSCS card desirable
- PASMA ticket desirable
